In my previous school, we have one Science room where every teacher in the upper primary is needed to take their students once a week to the Science room. Usually, the students are eager to learn when they are asked to go to the Science room. I've been teaching Science subject for 5 years and most of my students like learning Science. This is because they like to do some of the experiments found in their textbook and workbook. When teaching Science, i always prefer the students to learn using hands-on and minds-on learning so that they can discover and explore the given things or materials by themselves. For example, when teaching the germination of seeds. What type of soil would be the best for germination of seed? Either black soil, clay or sand. By doing the experiment by themselves, the students will observe the seed growing and record their findings.

As for Science, they are also many sites that are useful for teaching according to the topics. We can also use Interactive Whiteboard to show or explain some of the topics, example the Solar system, to the students. Students might find the lesson fun and meaningful. We can also let them search whatever topic that interested them using the internet. Games and others fun activities can be used for students with low ability which somehow can help them build their confidence and make the learning meaningful.
